Oh! Mother Earth,
Please forgive us,
For our greed.
We are exploiting you,
By polluting your planet,
How selfish we are!
You are struggling with climate,
Levels of oceans are rising,
As our greed is limitless.
Deforestation!
Another act of greed,
Their’s habitat is facing destruction,
Today, they are homeless.
Many species are extinct,
And some are endangered,
‘Thanks’! to our greed.
Ozone is depleting,
Letting UV inside,
Contributing to threats.
Still we are intelligent,
Who pollute their habitat,
For meeting their needs.
We treat ourselves as rulers,
And exploit this beautiful planet,
By killing and cutting others.
Oh! Mother Earth,
Please forgive us,
For our greed.
