She said she was his weakness;
Little did she know that it was her uniqueness,
Which he cherished;
And because of this, he flourished.
His empire was huge and massive,
But in front of her, it was all passive.
The first time he met her,
The future seemed all blur.
Her presence resonated in his smile,
He couldn’t stop thinking about her, even for a while.
She knew he loved her hard;
It was so obvious from his affection and guard.
But she was wrong when she thought,
That it was she who had bought,
Pain and agony to him,
And filled his life with problems till the brim.
She failed to realize,
Her existence could only suffice;
What he called his success and fame,
It was all gone; and who was to blame?
She took away with her, what some call luck;
And by some lightning, he was struck.
What was the use of such a large empire and name,
Her departure left him to cry in angst and shame.
Had he for once spoken how he felt,
Then he would have been free from all pain and guilt.
But alas, nothing of such sort happened,
His future lay ahead, all built and mapped.
