Life is a rhythmic way with complexion and simplicity where music plays a great role from past historical era till today. In the paleolithic age When a language had not yet developed, people used sign languages or voice signals or yelling in different rhythms for social networking. People, without the acknowledgment of their musical life which they grew for needs in the past era, make it a huge entertainment platform. We see different styles of music from various regions like western music, classical music. There are different musical instruments to express the diversity of music. Tanpura, Dhol, Pakhawaj from classical music to Violin, Saxophone of the west makes the world of music so fruitful.

The flute is recognized as one of the influential musical instruments as it is famous for being associated with Lord Krishna. It is an instrument in the woodwind group. Here the sound has produced the flow of air across an opening.

Invention of earliest musical instrument

According to records, the earliest musical instrument in the world is Flute. A team from Oxford University found a flute made of bird bone and mammoth ivory from a cave in Germany. Scientists using Carbon dating technology proved the instrument was more than 42000-43000 years old which is the oldest.Now it’s the question, how could it be proved as a flute? Some holes made my human hand it what our today’s flute also follows. So there is nothing to doubt that it was the oldest ancestor of today’s flute.

Uses of Flute in past archeological era:

The flute is a useful element to read ancient human life. Now the thing is why people made flute first except for other instruments. It would be different reasons — Flute is the easiest structure to build. It might be early people feel the need for strong social networking, so they thought to invent signals by whistling. With the time they saw some sound coming from a small bamboo-part with a hole if wind passed from it. At last, they founded a new signaling instrument. It also might be that the growing culture in the Neolithic age carried some belief where the human feels for music, and they build flute whose sound is mostly fit for an ancient ritual.

Literary Sources : From west to east

If we read the different literary sources, different musical instruments are highlighted. Flutes are the most common among them. In the ancient Vedic literature of India, there is mention of the three oldest musical instruments — vina, the venu, and the mrdanga. Venu means flute which was a component in Indian music from 1500 BCE. In Sumerian scripts, there was also mention of the flute as well as in the oldest epic, Gila Gamosh, in Mesopotamia nearly 3000 BCE. In Chinese, Celtic, and also in Baltic literature we can get evidence of mass uses of the flute.

Not only in reality but also flute is popular with mythological characters from Indian Krishna to Greek god Pan. There are mostly flutes mentioned from east to west especially in ancient text. Thus, it proves that the flute is one of the most ancient musical instruments in the world.

Flute, a small instrument that carries a lot of history and mystery with it, also spreads the emotions in the air where everyone will emerge on the same page that is love with music behind life. It is the oldest but the evergreen love weapon in any time that feels you heavenly on earth.
