Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s needs, but not every man’s greed.

~ Mahatma Gandhi

A good movie works with only three essential things- Entertainment, Entertainment and Entertainment and healthy earth is also successful with three vital things- Environment, Environment and Environment and that environment should be safe and cleaned. For living an entertaining life we have set all the arrangements like cinemas, television, smartphones but what about a ‘safe and healthy environment’. We did nothing for it, we just turned a ‘clean environment’ into a ‘noxious one’ which is being proved disastrous for us and we humans are responsible for it and it is a challenging task to take again that pour environment but not impossible, Yes, we can replace today’ unhealthy environment with nea w one which would be hygienic and free from toxic and poisonous gases.

*About-

Trees are cut down, rivers pour water being poisonous to drink and use, plants and animals are being hunted by the human’s unethical behaviour so to save the environment from human’s cruelty, United Nations established ‘a day to preserve the nature and environment called “World Environment Day”(1972) and it is celebrated every year on 5 June. In 1974, the first ‘WED’ was celebrated and the theme was “Only one Earth”. And we’ll have to carry on these type of themes in our life.

*Why do we need to celebrate this day?

  • Health issueThe environmentmentnt is being exploited by the unlimited demands of humans, we are removing the greeny forests for the construction of building and property but how can we forget that these plants and trees give oxygen to us. The whole world knows that India is facing the problem related to the o shortage of oxygen in the human body, thousands of people losing their life because of getting the oper amount of oxygen and the reason is deforestation. Yes, we have cut down thousands of trees and it is one of the reasons that we had to faced this problem. And it’s not enough, there are so many diseases that occur due to the exploitation of natural resources and covid-19 is one of them.
  • Addiction of technology

Can we imagine a day without using a g a  phone, laptop or travelling without a a a taa r cooter?. And the answer would be ’no’ because in today’s hectic life we have tied a knot with a technical thing. After all,e it’s very accessible but along with the merits, we should also know the side effects of it. For instance, the automobiles we use cause pollution and impact the environment. Another is mobile phones, do you know that the low-level of radiofrequency(RF) radiations emitted by mobile phones could be the cause of your health problems such as eye strain, headache. And there so many high-ratetechnologiesesgy which are destroying our natural resources.

  • Worst impact on Biodiversity

Overexploitation of natural resources by humans causa e negative impact on the ecosystem such as deforestation due to rapid increase in population, hunting of animals for eating and selling purpose, people burn fossil fuels, climatic change due to greenhouse gas effect ( causes drought, melting glaciers, heat waves, rise in temperature) and global warming- this critically impact living species of earth.

*How can we be a part of the f celebration of the WED?

There is no need to have a special cause to celebrate this day, we can save our environment by adding small effort to toururrrur daily routine life.

  • Love the nature

Nature is like our mother that always gives us but never wants anything in return but it’s our responsibility to preserve it and take care of it as a child. Nature is so adorable and peaceful that you’ll by fall in love with it, it has lots of things to give- the air we breathe, the water we drink or use, the land where we live, moreover the angelic beauties- alluring hills momomountainslassy seas, oceans, rivers and mesmeric glacier Sglaciere yourself and others also to love ifo the handshake with it, then it’ll hug you as a mother.

  • Sustainable development

The term “sustainable development” refers to that that theories in their chat future generation can also enjoy those resources because resources are limited and human needs are unlimited that’s why we should also take care of the coming generation while using the resources. Like, our forefathers left no. of trees for us but unfor unite, ly those trees and plants being cut down and few are left. So, like the, em we should also conserve the natural assets that would be fruitful for the future generation. If we do this then they’ll do the same but if we refuse it then they’ll also be wasting resources like us. Teach your family, society, neighbours about agency to save the environment.

  • Small contributions towards the environment

Natural resources are the magical gifts for us bd, these delicately put their efforts to nurture the environment and we should also nourish it by giving small donations- save the water by turn off the unnecessary taps, don’t waste electricity (use long-lasting light bulbs or solar products), grow trees and plants as more as possible, use 3R’s (Reduce, Refuse, Reuse), don’t snatch the jink of forests by hunting animals, say ‘no’ to plastic – use paper or jute bags instead of polythene, reduce pollution by minimizing the usage of automobiles and bicycle, decrease the rate of health issues by reducing the utilization of g,p our holy river clean and pour, organize awareness programmes for the protection of the f environment and many more endeavour we can do. You would be amazed to know that a man “Jadev Payeng” planted an entire forest single-handedly and he is known as “Forest Man Of India”. Of course, it is very challenging for a person to grow a whole forest but we can more trees and plants at least.

Now, we all are aware of the significance of the environment in our lives and there is an urgent need to conserve it otherwise it’ll be too late so, we all fight this pandemic situation by saving our motherland.
