Flower pot
Materials required:-
newspaper, glue, balloon, watercolours.
Step 1: Take a balloon. Blow it according to the size you want of your flower pot.
Step 2: Take some newspapers.
Step 3 : Cut the newspapers in small pieces.
Step 4 : Start applying glue on from one side of balloon.
Step 5 : Then paste the newspaper pieces on the balloon. Just paste only on that much area how much you want your flower to be.
Step 6 : Keep doing the same and cover the balloon with newspaper.
Step 7: Once the balloon is covered one time. Then can start pasting newspapers over it five to six times
Step 8 : It will become 5- 6 time layered if you still feel it is soft you can add some more layers.
Step 9 : Now Let it dry.
Step 10: When it is completely dry. Then burst the balloon.
Step 11: You can leave it for some time and then cut the unnecessary part.
Step 12 : You can colour the way you want. You can use the colours of your choice.
Step 13: Your pot is ready.
Diwali wall hanging
Materials required:-
Newspaper, glue, craft papers, watercolours and hard chart paper.
Step 1 : Take newspaper and cut it into pieces.
Step 2: Now take a piece and roll it with a pencil.
Step 3: Do the same and make 8 such paper pipes.
Step 4: Keep 4 paper pipes at distance of 1-1.5 inches diagonally.
Step 5: Then paste another 4 paper pipes above it to opposite diagonal sides.
Step 6: Now make the diyas using craft paper.
Step 8: Start making small accordion style folds along its long edge.
Step 8: Then fold it and cut in semicircle.
Step 9: Make the flame by making small accordion style folds.
Step 10: Make some big and some small diyas and suspend it freely by using thread.
Step 11: Then write happy Diwali by using hard chart paper.
Step 12: Now paste the diyas and happy diwali as shown.
Step 13: Your Diwali wall hanging is ready.
Pen holder
Materials required:
Newspaper or magazine paper, glue, tape roll, cardboard
Step 1: Take newspaper or magazine paper in cut the newspaper.
Step 2: Cut the newspaper/magazine Paper as shown in the figure.
Step 3: Then start rolling it along with pencil or some other thin material.
Step 4: Make 30-35 such rolls.
Step 5: Take the empty tape roll. Keep it on cardboard and draw circle along its edges on cardboard.
Step 6: Now cut the cardboard along the marking.
Step 8: Paste it under the tape roll to close one of its end.
Step 9: Now paste the paper pipes on the tape roll as shown.
Step 10: Your pen stand is ready.
Photo frame
Materials required
Cardboard, newspaper, glue, chart paper, watercolours
Step 1: Take cardboard and cut it according to the size that you want your photo frame to be. keep in mind that it should be bigger than the photo size.
Step 2: Paste photo on it.
Step 3: Now make 16 paper pipes by rolling newspaper.
step 4: Keep in mind that the paper pipes should be of same size and bigger than the cardboard frame.
Step 5: Now paste one pipe on cardboard and start pasting other pipes from up to down.
Step 6: Paste 4 each side as shown.
Step 7: You can hang it by a thread or you can cut a long cardboard piece and fold it from one side and paste the folded side at the back of photo frame.
Step 8: Your photo frame is ready. You can decorate if you want by using water colours. One example of coloured one is given.
