Every institute or school is unique in its own way. This goes with my school as well. I am a student of ST. THERESA SR. SEC. SCHOOL i.e. I am a THERESIAN. Being a part of a convent school I consider myself very lucky. No student can be luckier than a student of a Catholic school.

I became a part of THERESIAN FAMILY from lower kinder garden. From initial years of my life I got to be a part of most beautiful journey which is full of memories and I call this journey as ‘THERESIAN TOUR OF LIFE’. It is truly said that the schooling years are the best years of one’s life and to be a part of THERESA is like icing on the cake. Each one goes to school with hundreds of dreams, ideas and questions in their minds. And every second, minute, hour, day and year answers all the questions slowly and in an innovative way. The moments spent in school give us lessons for life.
About Theresian Family
St. Theresa is unique in its own way. It is a temple of knowledge. In the school all our faculty members serve as parents outside our home. They teach us eventfully. Not only they give us bookish knowledge but also guide us in various situations we face. They instruct on how to deal with not so favorable situations calmly and with confidence. They enlighten path of life for us. Teachers serve as mentor and guiding light when one finds darkness all around. Theresian faculty nurtures each student with love and care but also scold them when they deflect from the right path. Behind their scolding and anger there is hidden love and affection. Teachers are just like umbrellas which protect us from heavy rains in journey of our life.
Enhancing Skills
In ST. Theresa, with studies there are many extra-curricular activities which enhance our skills and personality. From junior classes there are number of competitions which not only brush up the talented students but also encourage others to identify their talent. Each year school organizes various competitions like singing, dancing, instrumental, debate, etc for seniors and competitions like poem reciting, storytelling, fancy dress, etc for young gems of the school. And apart from all these there is yet another competition i.e. notice board decoration. We get various themes and whole class comes together and actively becomes a part of this competition. It also teaches us unity. Its fun to participate in the competitions. More than winning its important to participate.
All the excitement and efforts we put in participating in any competition matters a lot. Each time we engage ourselves in various activities helps in brushing up our skills. ST. THERESA gives many chances by organizing various activities to enrich confidence in each Theresian.
Annual function, sports and cultural day, football matches, basketball matches, picnic, etc. All these recreation activities makes worth being a part of ST. THERESA. Annual function is a grand program. It includes number of programs like choir singing, dancing and skit. Once I myself was a part of a dance group during farewell. Our practice days were really amazing and gave us many sweet memories. Our teachers used to instruct us and we used to practice again and again. And in the free time we used to chatter, play games and enjoy to the fullest. Sports and cultural days were no less. These days also brought with them immense pleasure. Cheering for our friends in various activities was great fun. Football and basketball matches were also full of excitement. But the basketball match no Theresian can forget was the match between students and teachers. A match full of amusement.
Another activity that cherished our school days were picnics. Picnics were really merrymaking. Going on picnic with family is different but when it comes to school picnic enjoyment is at next level. A day completely full of enjoyment and adventure with friends and teachers is just mesmerizing. All these activities give us best memories for life.
With all the delightful school days we also count the most adorable and my personal favorite Christmas days. Christmas brings with it happiness, love and Christmas carols. Being a part of catholic schools gives pleasure of enjoying the carols during Christmas days. Each day starting with a new carol fills everyone’s heart with joy.
It is rightly said that school days leave an everlasting impact on each one. No one can ever forget the moments spent in school. For me my school will always be unique and the best. In coming years although I will go to different places and explore new things but I definitely know the days spent in school will always be missed. I am and always be proud to be a THERESIAN.
