We are now, already two decades deep into the 21st century. In the past 20 years, earth’s atmospheric changing system, mind bending, altering changes have upended the way we live and work. We eat, play, communicate differently. Things have changed and so has circumstances, some for better and some undoubtedly, for the worse. Having said there are many historical events that have changed the vision of the world completely.
Some of the are: 1) The invention of Internet 2) Birth of Facebook and many more to the unending list like the companies of Apple, Samsung, etc. Unlike other technologies the internet got its start in the U.S more than 50 years ago as a government weapon in the Cold War.
For years, scientists and researchers used it to communicate and share data with one and another. Today, we use the internet for almost everything and for many people it would be impossible to imagine or witness a life without it.
Did you know today, almost 1/3rd of the world’s 6.8 billion people used internet regularly.
1973-1989- Managing the networks and creating the internet.
1989-2004- Rise of the global Internet Web 1.0. 2005-present era- Web 2.0, global obliquely. Bob Kahn, Donald Daves, Vint Cerf, Paul Barnan and many others invented the internet. It was not a one man show or a single man task. January 1, 1983 is considered the official birthday of the internet. People often use the Web as a part of their daily completion of schoolwork, or audit work or any other job related task. They use search engines- such as Google, Yahoo and Bing to look for in formation on the web. In 2000s, some of the most popular web sites were social networking and shopping sites, Facebook, Twitter , Instagram and Snapchat.
They help us communicate with allies, friends, family, etc. Instagram and Facebook also give us oneness pleasure us by the photos and videos of many celebrities and common people. These videos are serious, funny, based on intricate art, etc. Amazon and EBay are sites for unstoppable shopping. Every computer connected to the internet needs to be protected from Cybercrime and Cyberspace. This includes hacking, phishing and the use of malware.
