“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to innovation.”-Albert Einstein.

The term ‘Technology’ helps us to understand the inherited meaning of technical knowledge. The technological world is not only confined to computers, smartphones, etc but also the research and development in every field.

During the pandemic of COVID-19, technology helped us in every best manner it could be. Starting with meeting our friends virtually to online education. It also helped the higher age group, people, to do their work just at one click on the technological devices. Technology gives birth to innovation, we witnessed it in the form of celebrating birthdays and various occasions through a variety of applications, watching our favorite movies for leisure, shopping online, etc. We are the end-users of these facilities but behind this, there is a lot of hard work. People work on these applications through HTML programs, using different programming languages like python, C++, etc.

People can also maintain a record of their day-to-day as well as long-term transactions by using different enterprise resource planning(ERP) packages such as Tally ERP.9, Bitrix24, Odoo, etc. This results in consumer satisfaction and improved resource utilization.

The use of the internet is boundaryless. Any person from anywhere and anytime can use the internet to search for information, to gain knowledge, for entertainment, etc.

The use of social media platforms is another topic of focus for the growth of technology. Over 3.6 billion people use social media worldwide based on 2020 calculations. The use of social media is good to a certain extent but overuse of anything is always bad. Some social media platforms like Watsapp, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc have been grown immensely from the birth of such innovations. Half of the people who use social media consist of the young age group. However, there are some disadvantages as well such as increased screen time, computer vision syndrome also known as digital eye strain, other problems due to the radioactive waves of technological devices, which have proved to be major barriers for social media. Hence, the use of anything is good until it is confined and restricted to a certain time limit otherwise it starts showing its adverse ill effects.

When one shops online, he/she again use technology either while selecting the products or making payment online. The searching for a particular product, selecting it, negotiating with the price, making payment, and lastly receiving the delivery of a product, all these processes are some of the other way related to technology.

Nowadays, we can read books even online. These books are popularly known as ‘E-BOOKS’.It includes fiction,non-fiction,autobiographies,novels,etc.

So, in all nowadays everything is related to technology. The research and development, brainchild, the hard contribution of programmers have all lead to the affirmative outcome. We all won’t be surprised if in the next few years everyone would be familiar with the term “TECHNOLOGY” and would also have its application in day-to-day life. The upcoming generation would lead to a paperless society, saving nature and making the best and effective use of applied science. Mechanization, robotics, computers, and automation will see a revolutionized and adaptive society. Technological advancement will help people to see the changing face of the entire world.
