Scientific Attitude

Hard work and persistent effort are on a blow,

Magic and superstition to get work done are on the grow.

Unscientifically approaching our tasks we came,

If our business fails, why is it that on the gods we blame?

A bad carpenter always blames his tools,

Losing or putting down to luck, aren’t we fools?

We forget the importance of perseverance and persistence,

And in many ways find work as stupidity

All this is because we do not have a scientific attitude towards duty.

Ours is a country where people pray for timely rain,

Or break a coconut before a final examination gain.

Nurturing a scientific attitude is just an art,

In right efforts, should we have faith from our heart.

Faith in nurturing a scientific attitude is in our right efforts,

We must strive to do our best in whatever field we’re experts.

All dos should be done at our angles,

Instead of expecting godmen to perform miracles.
