If you were to ask a little comic obsessed boy who Iron man is; all his mind would diverge to is “an extramundane creature with a solid, well-built frame.” in the little knowledge he has, he would never talk about what makes him that remarkable.

Maybe his strengths, abilities. The same thing works for grown-ups today when you ask them who Elon Musk is. “He is the richest man alive” they would ambiguously answer. Only a few know his net worth and occupation yet they wish to one day become like him. If he is such an inspiration, why wouldn’t people read about him?

On June 28th, 1971 Pretoria- South Africa was born a real-life iron man. His actions inspired “ Tony Stark ”; Iron man in Marvel. Born from a family of five, Errol was raised by his two parents Errol and Maye Musk. He is currently semi separated from Claire Elise Boucher famously known as Grimes. He has seven beautiful kids. Though so hard to believe, Elon’s life was a tough row to hoe.

He had his worst days in high school where a couple of bullies beat him to blackout. Though he had no typical “perfect childhood,” in his early life and often fought with his Dad, The iron man in him did not retard to surface. At only 12, he sold a simple game “Blastar ” to a computer magazine for 500$ (Weinberger, business insider Africa). He got into Queen’s University in Ontario, once he graduated from high school. He did continue from there but finished his studies at the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Physics and Economics.

It is not overnight that one gets into Stanford. Even those who get into it luckily, never take it for granted. Like they seriously make the most out of the chance. Elon Musk has a whole different angle he views life from. For him, Life is more than just getting a degree and having your parents praise you for getting into an ivy- league University. He deferred his precious admission and never went back to finish his studies.

Elon Musk is the perfect example of how life can sometimes hit hard but pay off in the end. While he stayed and lived in his office, showered at a nearby YMCA, Zip2, launched by him and his brother earned him $22 million.

Vacations are the most refreshing moments you’d ever wish to go to. Sources of heartfelt creations. At least that’s what works for most people. To Musk, one vacation to Australia turned his life upside down. In 2000, after that he had invested $10 million of what he had earned from zip2, he got fired when he was the CEO himself.

The news struck him on his way back from some free time away. It did turn into a great opportunity in the end, however. As the major shareholder of PayPal, he earned $150 million that he started with to launch Space X.

It seemed like defeat never had enough strength to hit Musk. Even in the darkest moments in his life, he was able to rise again. The main aim of space X was to make space flight affordable. Iron man didn’t fly to Mars to not come back, however. In 2006, he invested $70 million in Tesla; an electric car company; in which he is currently the CEO.

Albeit smooth Musk’s life can sound after all the accomplishments he had done, setbacks were still banging on his door. In 2008, all his projects and companies seemed to be failing him. As Tesla lost huge sums of money, SpaceX could see its failure coming.

He divorced his first wife in the same year with whom he had lost his first son who was only 10 weeks old. He married Riley Talula (a model) later on in 2008, though they got divorced only four years later. Not long after his distress did he receive good news in two parts. One that SpaceX had had a $1.5 billion with NASA and that Tesla had found more promising investors. From 2015 to 2018 SpaceX made extraordinary improvements.

After many more of his life’s achievements, Elon Musk never runs out of ideas. In 2015, he founded PayAI which was meant to research Artificial Intelligence but with an exception of not endangering the human species. He seemed to balance his professional and personal life well. The fact that he was an all-time busy businessman, didn’t stop him from continuing to continue finding love.

All in all, Iron man is more than just a three-syllable word. It’s more of what makes him. Striving to achieve his dreams and hard work are the best qualities a person can have. Elon once quoted that “ If something is important enough, you do it even if the odds are not in your favour.” “I had so much at stake every time he failed, but at least he never quit,” he would say. Which makes him remarkable man generations will never cease to speak about.
