Mother is the first person in every one of our lives. She is the first and foremost person in our life. ‘Mom’ the first word that every one of us says. She is the first person in our life. She introduces us to everyone including our dads and relatives. She helps us with everything even if it’s a small problem. She is the only person whom we could trust blindly. In my opinion, at least some of us may feel safe in her presence. She is considered to be a living angel who looks after the house and takes care of us. There is an old proverb that tells us that mothers are the supreme creation of God and that she holds a bit of god in herself. In religious literature, mothers are considered as a form of god who lives with us as a part of our life. Mother is a treasure trove of love. She is the light of our family. She leads us in the path of light and helps us realize what and why we are made of.

Now let me get to the main part of this essay, Mother’s day. Mother’s day is celebrated differently in different parts of the world. In India, it is celebrated on the second Sunday of May every year while in the UK it is celebrated on the fourth Sunday to honor the Christian church. Greece celebrates it on February 2.
Anna had a memorial for her mother at St Andrew’s Methodist church before her death. Her mother was an activist who would treat wounded soldiers. Anna wanted to honor her mother as she considered her mothers to be the person who has done more for her than for herself. Mother is the first person that a child seeks while returning home. She takes care of everything. Mother’s Day is celebrated with great pleasure in many schools. On this day mothers are invited to their children’s schools. Children try their very best to make their mothers happy. Some sing songs, some write essays, and others some co-curricular activities. During this day children give their mothers gifts, favorite things or special things. Every child has their method of celebration. Some give gifts, some cooked food, some give surprise parties. Mothers who are honored in their children’s schools give speeches their children prepared so that they could know how special they are to them. In this day Mothers are allowed to play with their children.
For a mother, her whole world is when she is with her children. She tends to bring her children to right and scolds whenever something is wrong she sacrifices her whole life for the wellbeing of her children. She tries her best to make a good man or a good woman. She’s the decider of our life. She always encourages her children to move forward and to keep going. My mom always told me to keep going until I get what I want. We must take care of them and never let them be unhappy.
Conclusion
The bond of a mother and her children is unbreakable. It is so special that it can be cherished forever by children and their mothers. As mothers should always be present in our prayers and our mind it is good to have a special day in memory of her. But, one day is not good enough for celebrating motherhood and we should make every day as special as mother’s day. We should acknowledge the little time we spend with her, we should make memorable moments with our mother, make every day special for her as the greatest gift that we could give to her is our love and respect. Mothers are the most valuable gift in our life. To give her respect is the greatest thing that we could give to her for all her sacrifices. In most cases, mothers are the key to our victory. No other gift precious to her than her children’s love and respect. So let us not make our mothers unhappy, sad, or disobey her in any matter. Let us pledge that we would make her moments with us special and fill her days with warmth and joy.
