Surrounded by the enemy from all sides,
Fate demanded his surrender to the adverse tides.
His battle wounds were etched deep in his chest,
He wore them like medals with energy and supreme zest.
Outnumbered he was and survival was a distant dream,
Giving up would mean compromising with the nation’s esteem.
But…
Forward he went climbing fate’s ladder….
Shouting at the enemy with wisdom and valor
“I Refuse to forgive ones at faults
I Refuse to subject my advance to kickback and jolts…
I refuse to obey the comforts of the mind
I refuse to bow down to obstacles whether one or in-kind…
I refuse to limit the use of my infantry knowledge…
I refuse to be second in any given challenge
I refuse to remember the love of my life…
For my country needs me on the face of adversaries at sight
I refuse to acknowledge the pain of my body and soul…
I refuse to get distant from the stars that are my goal
I refuse to take the easy path with long strides…
For you can have my mind and my body,
But you will never touch my Pride…….”
