Going with the flow sometimes costs also your mental damaged health!

It is believed that one should take the trendiest lifestyle in order to thrive in this society.

Even if it affects the individual’s mental and physical health.

What is the point of fit when you don’t even enhance your mental health in the lifestyle?

Modern society is the change that society absorbs into its lifestyle to the same degree as ever-changing circumstances.

Modern lifestyles influence people’s mental health through technology in various ways.

Constant use of technology, social media has led to an increase in stress-related disorders. Constantly checking your social media account to see if there is a message or not, whether your friend posted a picture or not, always being active on social media sharing all your daily routine with your followers is fine until you start comparing yourself to others and start feeling inferior.

This leads to the Emergence of a constant checker!

A continuous checker is someone who continually, almost compulsively, checks their emails, messages, and social media accounts.

On social media, being less renowned than a buddy reduces enjoyment. Being socially isolated and not connecting with individuals in person rather than texting them is contributing to the high prevalence of mental illness. Our future is determined by how we spend the majority of our time; we only have two options: follow the path of destruction that is social media, where you only learn to avoid the real world and live in a world of comparison, envy, showoff, inferiority complex, and many other things, or choose the path where you will learn and encounter the reality and witness many amazing experiences. Meeting new individuals not only broadens our horizons but also expands the circle through which we may learn and grow together. After all human being is a social animal.

Social media is becoming the reason for depression among the youth.

Studies have shown that there are many cons attached to social media while on the other side being active on social media has pros too as it helped many people globally to interact with new their close ones or to seek help and interact with people all around the world without any hassle.

The innovations of the twenty-first century offer a plethora of benefits for our society, but they have had a severe influence on our personal health.

We’ve seen that the elder generation is living longer lives, while the ‘new’ generation is dying younger.

Disease ‘meant’ for persons over the age of 60 is increasingly afflicting people of all ages. Heart attacks, diabetes, hypertension, strokes, high cholesterol, and even fibroids, which were formerly thought to be illnesses of old age, are increasingly being ‘suffered’ by young individuals.

The death rate due to chronic illness is increasing.

High alcohol consumption has become a trend among the youth. In order to appear cool in front of their peers, many individuals begin using alcohol at a very early age, which leads to a broad range of difficulties and diseases that a person may face in the future.

Smoking has become a very frequent issue of addiction, and alcohol intake is also becoming one of the issues that lead to addiction, which leads to devastation!

There are several situations when a person began drinking or smoking due to peer pressure, involuntarily, or because they were misled by their friends.

To prevent the issues that arise with adapting to contemporary living, one should attempt to maintain a healthy lifestyle. There are several methods for keeping your body and mind healthy.

Try to be physically active. Engage in at least 20 minutes of physical activity every day. It doesn’t matter what kind of activity you perform; what matters is that you do it.

Begin and keep to a nutritious diet. It may appear tough at first, but once you start eating properly, there is no turning back.

Abusing drugs and alcohol may appear to be an efficient method to cope with the symptoms of a mental illness, but they can actually exacerbate the disease.

Try manifesting good things as it will help to think about the positive side of every situation which will lead to less reduction of happiness whenever a person is experiencing anxiety or suffering from low esteem.

Learning new things explore yourself is the best way to avoid unnecessary distractions. Get a good sleep; never compromise your sleep just to get extra time to do unnecessary things like using Smartphone, playing games, etc.

Finally, never do or attempt to do something that you know is bad for your mental and physical health since only you know yourself and your body, and never let other people’s lifestyles influence your healthy lifestyle.
