CYBER SECURITY AND SAFETY

In today’s advanced world the numbers of computer users have increased and Internet users have increased and that’s why Cyber Security and Safety is important in our advanced world.  So here raises the question of what is Cyber Security and Safety? So let’s first understand:

Cyber Security means protecting of data and information of networks.  

So now we have understood the meaning of it let’s now understand why is it important? So as a our world is going more and more advanced by which the number of computer and internet users are growing and in this pandemic it becomes more and more important as we are using more internet than normal and cyber attack has been very common nowadays and this also called cyber terrorism which more dangerous than weapons.  So that’s why Cyber Security and Cyber Safety are important.

The Indian government has taken several steps to make people aware of it, but people take it very lightly they do not know that how dangerous it is, they’re all details can be taken away in a second, like bank details their personal information etc. and that’s why the threat of cyber crime is increasing in India but the people simply ignore it and that’s the reason in the increase of cyber crime. Our country is among the top three countries in the world after China and USA in phishing and malware attacks which are some types of cyber crime our government has done everything that can help us to know about cyber security and safety which can prevent us from being the victim of cyber crime but we have to be alert and responsible because if we do not get aware of it then it will be our fault and our loss.

Now let’s discuss about how we can prevent cyber crime.  Firstly we have to protect our accounts with strong authentication beyond usernames and passwords and our passwords should be strong enough so that hackers could not be able to crack it.  Clicking unknown links without thinking is dangerous.  Just because we can click doesn’t mean we should.  They can cause damage in different ways we should be sure to inspect the links and we should also ensure that they’re from trusted senders otherwise we have to pay a big sum.  And the biggest weapon for preventing cyber crime is being a cyber mart that means we have to be aware of what is cyber security and safety, cyber crime and not only block the chats which are sending unknown links but also report them.  We need to know how to report a scam to the agencies dealing with cyber crime.

We are becoming more and more advanced and people also accepting it and know about it but there are many other things to which this words cannot say growing more and more advanced has some disadvantages too in which cybercrime is one but the brighter side is that many agencies dealing cyber crime have started taking strict actions and this world be a better place when this world be free from cyber crime.  Thanks!
