“Gamers Don’t Die, They Respawn”
On December 20, 2017, came a game that nobody thought would change the Mobile gaming era. Before the date, famous games with the most users were Marvel Contest Of Champions, Pokemon Go, Clash Royale, Stranger Things: The Game, Star Wars and many more.
Still, Battle Royale and action were only founded in Fortnite which was only available in PS 4 at that time. Developer Brendan Greene and his team created a game that hit the sky. They designed a game called PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
In India, it was so popular that it crossed 2 Billion Downloads since 2018. Winning more than 18 awards in 3 years, it touched heights. Many games like Badlanders, Infinite Ops, Battlelands Royale and more became famous. But in September 2020, it was banned because of a conflict between India and China. But it came back into action when it was released by Krafton in June 2021 and Battlegrounds Mobile India.
PUBG was getting famous for its light-speed downloads. But they didn’t know that a Console game enterprise would launch a game that nobody believed would come. Yes, it’s the Call Of Duty Mobile by Activision. Call Of Duty earlier made Console games. Activision started making Call Of Duty games.
Looking at PUBG, Call Of Duty brought a mobile game. Call Of Duty was a prominent and well-known game on the console so the gamers pre-registered it.
Comparison between BGMI and Call Of Duty is a big enigma for gamers. Many players elect to install both. There are a few points to study:
- IN-GAME FEATURES
Both PUBG and Call of Duty mobile allow their players to take a drop from a plane and gear up before going to the battlefield. Having zones that shrink with time, both the games have a similar goal, that is, to be the last one standing. However, PUBG Mobile is a very traditional Battle Royale game with familiar features that anyone can acquire rapidly. Call of Duty Mobile, on the other hand, has many more advanced aspects different from PUBG.
- WEAPON CHEMISTRY
Weapon physics is very different in both games. Contrary to other Battle Royale games that have non-realistic weapon mechanics, both these games excel in this particular aspect. Bullets fly differently in PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty Mobile. In PUBG Mobile, you can easily hit all your shots remotely, whereas, in COD, this is not always the case. The latter game takes into account that only snipers should be used in a 400-meter range, and it limits the capabilities of your other weapons.
- SPEED
There is little to argue against the simple fact that PUBG Mobile is a much slower-paced game than COD.
If you drop down into a relatively high traffic area like Pochinki or School, you may find a few teams to engage within an earlier gunfight. But after the start of the game, there will be a significant period where you won’t get that much action. Action is only found in safe zones.
Call of Duty has unique classes, new vehicles like helicopters, and an overall superior arcade feeling to the game. The Royal Battle mode of COD, which lasts about 20 minutes, makes it a quick game. With PUBG Mobile, you can expect a game to last upwards of 40 minutes or more.
Well, every game is good in their league. But this battle is won by Call Of Duty mobile. However, PUBG is good in many other aspects such as maps and characters. Hope they will launch a higher version.
