“Memory is the diary that
We all carry about
With us.”

Some memories remain etched in our minds forever. Memories are timeless treasures of the heart. I remember an event, the memory of which makes me feel fortunate. I can also trigger it as one of the memorable days of my life. It was my last day of the 2nd standard. I was waiting in the school as the rickshaw driver’s uncle was able to drop me at school but not able to pick me back from school. The real story begins from here.

My school got over, and I was waiting for my father. But I didn’t found any scope for him to come. Suddenly, it started raining. I wore my blue raincoat with barbie printings. Not seeing him, I was worried, impatient, and tensed. So, I started walking towards my house. My house was 10 kilometers away from the school. I didn’t know what struck my mind at that moment. At the same time, my father reached school. He was searching for me. He was also asking my friends about me. He rang up my mother and told her about the situation. My mother was tensed and was worrying about me. My father ranged to the police.

By happenstance, my friend had seen me. I even didn’t know how she recognized me as I was wearing my raincoat and was walking without any fear. Her father took me back home. My mother was waiting for me in a tense, worried, and emotional state. But when she saw me, she came and hugged me. But I was thinking about my father’s anger. He came back home burst into tears. And not forgetting about my little sister, she was only three years old. She didn’t know what was happening around.

After that, it was lunchtime. My mother prepared my favorite delicacies for me. I was surprised that they didn’t scold me but made me understand my mistake. I feel fortunate not only because God helped me in the form of my friend but also as he has given me the world’s best parents. This incident makes me feel so fortunate that I can never forget. I believe that whatever happens in our life happens for some reason and purpose. It affects us such that as if it remains forever etched in our hearts and mind.

I will surely agree that whatever happened to me was with a reason. The reason is best known to me. I am happy and glad that I have got such lovable and understanding parents. Both of them are supportive and kind. I cannot express the fear that they had when they found me missing. I am happy that I realized my mistake. I am thankful to God that he has given me such parents.

Thus,
“Life is full of joyous moments,
It is you who changes these moments into beautiful
Memories.”
