What do you mean by the term hobby? The one sudden meaning that flashes in the mind is an activity that human enjoys doing. A hobby is one of the basics which humans have since their childhood. But the question is how many of them make their hobby their dream job? Only a few percentages of them in this world do that.
But according to me, every individual should follow their hobby. As the interest level is more in a hobby than a job. Job is one thing where only a few of them have an interest or maybe doing the respective job is their hobby. On the other hand, most of them do a job for a better lifestyle and a better standard of living but a life with satisfaction is even better. Maybe a hobby is considered to be a small activity but not necessary that always every small thing leads to a small end.
Let’s take the example of Facebook. Everyone knows Facebook and the founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Facebook who is Mark Zuckerberg. But the story of Facebook is unheard of or maybe rarely heard. The story behind this world-wide used application is Mark Zuckerberg who was a student at Harvard University. He had a hobby of making applications. So, he made an application for his friends at Harvard. Who knew that the student of Harvard will make an application like this? While some of you may question that there is no proper earning in pursuing your hobby. But everyone in this world knows how much Facebook has earned monetarily and also how much fame and name has Mark Zuckerberg earned. Hence with the given example, I conclude that every small thing always does not lead to a small end.
There are people in this world who want their hobbies to be their dreams but life gives them hurdles and problems and reasons to give up. But I think life without difficulties and challenges is not interesting and worth living. Just think for a while, life without problems and challenges? In the beginning, people will feel happy but after a while, life would be colorless. If you are very sure to pursue anything in this world then nothing in this world can stop you. Just enjoy jumping the hurdles and don’t count the number of jumps. Just climb the mountain of difficulty and there is happiness always waiting on top. Also never forget that there is no alternate of hard-work and results will be equal to your work may be sometimes late but it will arrive.
There are many benefits to making your hobby your job. Firstly, a hobby is your interest in something and what more do you expect than having an interest in the work and satisfaction in the job. Also, there are many chances of your growth personally and professionally in your interest. Even the job of your interest will lead to your positive attitude, full focus, and attention towards your work.
A positive attitude as mentioned above is very important in work life and while pursuing your hobby you will have a positive attitude. Also, having a positive attitude towards your work may lead to many great things and life with a good lifestyle which is full of positivity. Also, positivity leads to positive behavior in professional life thus creating positivity in personal life.
Most important of all is our mental and physical health. The human brain works according to our thought process. And human life is full of problems but in those problems, if you have self-satisfaction and happiness then automatically your thought process becomes positive and by having a positive thought process, we achieve good mental health.
I would suggest if singing is your hobby then pursue it. It is a really good field to pursue and give your voice a chance. I would suggest to take a degree from a college of singing and gain some experience. Another benefit of taking a degree is that you will have knowledge about that field before stepping into it and in college, you will come to know while studying that how much your career will be bright or not and you will also see some improvement while studying there. Personally, even my hobby is singing. I want to pursue it. I want to gain experience by working with different people and learning new things from each one. I always see tickets of different bands and singers with their band name, with their name and most importantly with their images. Even, I wanted and want my tickets to be sold in the same manner. I will gain experience and then launch my brand and my voice in the world. I want to own the stage like no one ever did. I want to perform in live concerts and have my own fans and audience I will take people like me in a band who want their hobbies to be their dreams and want to work really hard for it.
Whenever you doubt to follow your hobby ask two questions to yourself. First, can you earn a living out of it? Second, will it remain your hobby even if you have to do it every day? I have a yes for both of them and if you have it then you may pursue it.
I conclude that pursuing your hobby or your talent is not harming your lifestyle and instead it is the best way to live a satisfied and better life with peace of mind and body. Follow your hobbies and work hard, rest the results will speak.
