Once there was a young man named Mangyi who lived in a small town called Hiroshi. Hiroshi was a place famous for its simplicity and low key life. Mangyi lived a very miserable life. He was an orphan. He lost both his parents at an early age. He was taken care of in an orphanage. But as he was growing he noticed that he looked malnourished and was different from the rest of the people. He had a big flat nose, elephant ear, and a stunted height of less than 4 inch.
Whenever he goes out of his house, people mocked and laughed at his peculiar appearance. He even discontinued his schooling at 3th standard because of the great humiliation he faced. Everyday was like a battle for him, with himself and with the society. He longed for love and affection but receive only cold shoulders and hatred from the people . Even his far kins disregarded and disowned him.
He didnt understand why he have to faced such harsh treatment. He blamed his luck and pondered what purpose God has for him. Even to the children, his appearance was threatening. They would burst out heavily and run as fast as they can. Nobody wanted to be near him for they thought he would harm them or that his presence would bring them bad luck.
Mangyi felt very depressed at all the things happening in his disfavour. He wanted to do something with his life but was unable to find out. One fine day, he woke up early in the morning and left the orphanage. He made up his mind to stay away from the people as he felt great guilt and remorse for making them feel insecure about him. So, he made his way to the jungle and lived there for couple of months until a fascinating idea struck his mind.
It took a lot of efforts on how to go about and how to make it work. He cautiously took a scrutinized decision. He wanted to be a part of the circus. He thought to himself that he would find ease staying and performing with them. He prepared day and night for the audition. He gave his all as it the only thing he really wanted. Finally the day of the audition arrived. To his amazement he found his name in the list of the selected participants. He was overjoyed and could not believe his eyes.
Thereafter, he gave his full concentration to becoming a successful clown. He practiced every tentative second and minute provided for practice. Soon, luck started favoring him and he became a professional clown. He became so famous that he was known all over the world. He even got hired to perform in abroad countries. To celebrate his achievements, the villagers who once hated and disowned him, welcomed him with a great feast and happy heart. He was filled with tears and overjoyed as he longed for this moment so long. He greatly inspired people with his lifestory and he is known as a man who overcome his odds by not giving up despite the great humiliation he faced. Many youngsters look upto him and Mangyi became their role model. However, despite his success, Mangyi didn’t forget his roots and remained humble and kind. He even set up many charity missions to help people like him achieve their dreams and ambitions. In the end, he even conquered the hearts of the little children who were once feared him. He even became great friends with animals and he lived happily after.
What we can learn from his life is that, looks and physical appearance doesn’t matter for success. No matter what, if one have clear intentions to achieve something, nothing can stop him/her. Everyone who is born in this world know that positivity always mixed with negativity. So knowing the fact one should not give up in the face of adversities instead one should give his all. Through perseverance one can win success out of what seemed destined to be certain failure.One should not let others underestimate the power of one’s own existence on this Earth. If one vote in election can being an embracing change then yes, our existence can also bring an innovative idea to create better fun world.
