The Landscape of Me

The raging winds of time are howling by the crystal clear ocean,
Picking up the loose grains of sand filled with my emotions,
My overflowing sorrow is the source of this deep water body,
With ripples of pain caused by own folly,
The once lush grass on the meadows of my heart,
Has gone meager, with the scorched ground drifting apart,
The atmosphere is thick filled with remorse,
The melodies of longing, the ebb, and flow of tide cavort,
The torn cliffs of hope, gleaming in the pale moonlight,
The whispers of the creeping vines speak of self-doubt,
And of my main goal to be accepted by everyone, what my life was once all about,
The light of the distant stars that lingers in the sky like the yearning that lingered in my heart,
To preserve each and every joy as it always ends even before the start,
The remaining liveliness of Nature stops with the beginning of excruciating regrets,
The night suddenly dark, covered with deadly silence, when there appears a silver silhouette,
Running amok on the sand to find a path,
To escape the flames of my inner chaos and my mind’s wrath,
The silhouette desperately trying to seize the paradise of long lost peace,
The one hidden by clouds of confusion, painted by my rage in the hue of Cherise,
To break the chains of loathing,
To find the freedom of self-love and warmth that is pure and soothing,
Soon against the unforgiving night, the silhouette feels a welcoming warmth,
As flowers immaculate in the dying swarth,
A flying Phoenix, spreading its majestic wings, rekindling the hope of life,
Giving my mind and heart strength while ending my sorrows and strife,
The paradise of peace shines brightly than the great Sol,
As my soul finally finds comfort in filling up my heart’s hole.
