Harimandir Sahib is the holy place of sikh people but it’s four doors are open for all the religions.Harimandir Sahib, meaning”abode of God 🙏””.i.e the house of God.The gurudwara is built around a man madepool.i.e(sarovar)that was completed by 4th guru of Sikhs.Guru Arjan Dev ji 5th guru of Sikhism requested Sai mir mian Mohammad,a muslism pir of Lahore to lay it’s foundation stone in 1589.The golden temple is anopen house of worship for all men and women, from all walks of life and faith.The complex is a collection of buildings around the pool.Additional buildings including a clock tower, the office s of gurudwara committee, a museum and a langar which is run by sikh community that serves a simple vegetarian meal to all visitors without discrimination.Over 100,000people visit the holy shrine daily for worship.The langar record has been recorded in genius book of records.. The gurudwara complex has been nominated as a UNESCO World Heritage site.From the different parts of the world, people come here,to get relief from the pain of life.When they enter there, they forget everything and lost in the name of God.people have a deep beliefs that they achieve everything from the god here.Many people who are suffering from the diseases has come herewith the pure will and back to home with healthy living..for example Indian Gujarati scient ist Vasu Dev has been suffering from brain cancer .in his last stage he and his family reached golden temple with the deep faith alought he does not believe in God.But when the path has been started then he said that a light was coming from the guru granth sahib jiand pass into my bodythen he said his condition was becoming better than before.And when the path was completed l feel like a healthy person.When doctor checked me And my report they said that now there was no presence of cancer in ur body.This is not the ending ,there is the long list of various chamatkar in this place.The golden temple in Amritsar is also known for the celebrations.The main festival that is Vaisakhi .It is held in the second week of April and is celebrated to commemorate the founding of khalsa cult .To celebrated the festival, the whole temple is illuminated with lights which are a great spectacle.Another festival is Diwali which is celebrated in a vast way.Afamous idom which is use for this festival is,”Dal Roti ghar de Diwali Amritsar de,”.on the occasion of Diwali the whole temple is decorated with the divas and lights.And at the night time Aatashbaji is held is scene is looking more beautiful And people from the different parts of the world to seeing this beauty.There are also numerous Shops and dinning hubs where traveller’s can go after making a visit to golden temple.The dinning hubs serves a wide range of mouth watering local and Punjabi deliciously food .The local shops offer wood carvings, woolen garments and phulkaries and so on.So ,in last I would say that this place is world best and most famous….
