Poem: Embrace the Night

In the stillness of night,
When the world is asleep,
And the stars shine so bright,
Memories arise and creep.

Of loves lost and found,
Of dreams that once were,
Of moments that astound,
And of hope that did occur.

The moon casts its glow,
On the world below,
And the night creatures know,
That it’s time to show.

The rustling of leaves,
The hoot of an owl,
The sound of a breeze,
And the distant howl.

In the darkness, we find,
A certain kind of peace,
The troubles of the mind,
Begin to slowly cease.

So let us embrace,
The beauty of the night,
And let its gentle grace,
Guide us towards the light.
